Hazardous material signals are designed for placement on storage tanks, processing tanks and vessels, feed hoppers, pipelines and other potentially hazardous pieces of equipment. 

The upper three corners of the signal rate health, fire, and reactivity on a scale of 0 to 4. 

The lower corner provides specific hazard information.
